About

Thanks for checking out my site.

A little about me…personally. I love my wife,  2 kids, and pets, even Carl the corn snake. I am a recovering perfectionist who struggles every day with imposter syndrome.  Interested in learning more about myself and what I can offer the world (sounds so egotistical doesn’t it), becoming less judgmental (not so egotistical), seeking out the divine in everything, including the mundane rituals of our lives.  Trying to hold my beliefs very loosely and being wrong – I know less than I think I know!  Exploring the world seems like a good use of my time and money.  Want to get better at: being a great father, husband, friend and community member; cooking simple delicious food; creating outdoor spaces that connect us to nature; living out authentically and using my gifts for good.

A little about me….professionally….
With over 25 years of experience focusing primarily on non-profit tech, I have worked in various roles such as a product manager, consultant, software developer, database administrator, systems analyst, and scrum master at industry leaders like Blackbaud and Omatic Software. Want to see what I am doing now, go check out my Linkedin profile.

I am not interested in climbing some corporate ladder. I want to be in roles the rest of my career that allow me to bring significant value and impact to customers. Enjoy when I bring my technical background to situations where we do something interesting and impactful for customers.

Super interested in making products better, reframing how we think about and use technology, implementing better processes that support better technology, quite frankly just doing things better, more efficiently and impactfully.

Thanks again for reading and getting this far 🙂  I would love to hear from you.  Comment on my blog posts;  connect with me on the various social platforms or reach out to me via the Contact page.
